kind of. The mirrors are not convexed, but there is a seperate mirror element that does the same thing as the EU convex.
I also had sticker shock when I built mine, so I may ditch the 17" wheels for the 16". I will use my 17" axis wheels on the Fiesta and use the 16" wheels in the winter. This will allow me to sell my current winter wheel/tire combo and put that money towards modifications to the Fiesta.
In no way is the Fiesta overpriced. You get a ton of stuff and an interior that is far better than cars costing way more. This is a premium B-segment car, not a cheap car. I am planning on having mine for many years, so I will load it up with options.
