I run 235/35's front and 265/30's rear on my other car and so far haven't cracked or even put major dings on the lip....yet. But I have dinged it going over very minor curbs that I know a 50 series wouldn't have had any issue with. I do drive carefully with regards to my wheels, like I'm on eggshells. Luckly most of the roads around me are decent.

My 15" aluminum wheels that will come on my SE with the SAP 202a will be my winter wheels and even my summer wheels are most likely going to be 15" as well. Our roads are always bad. Really bad. By the time the last pot hole is filled, it's winter and the new ones come in with a vengeance.
