Did you try and leave the car in the "run" position? That's what I did last night and UG didnt detect my fillup so I was able to calibrate it. With the calibration my UG is now off by .1 (the travesty!!) so i can live with that! My biggest deal was with the fuel gallons calculation. Hopefully with the fuel and distance cal it'll improve.

When I filled up this morning, I pressed the Up key to indicate tank full and then calibrated. I think what I did wrong before was that I filled up, then reset my MPG to zero and then tried to calibrate.

My calibration factor is currently 1.03. I will recalibrate for three or four more tanks and that should do it.

Ya made me go check, my fuel cut off is at 8 and my calibration is 1.17. I posted in another thread a few minutes ago that it was at 1.16 but I had to see what my cut off was at so I went to look.

OK, then we are now at exactly the same settings, and this is good news because it probably means that all Fiestas can use this setting, or at least 2011 5-speed hatches.

Note: when you do the calibration, it prints its estimate of gallons used and lets you change that to reflect actual gallons used. Once you enter it, it prints the calibration fudge factor. But you can keep tweaking the number of gallons and it'll keep telling you what that makes the fudge factor until you get it to the magic 1.17 value (assuming you also set deceleration fuel injector cutoff to 1.6 liters and use 8 for its fudge factor).
