Default Pulling up the mpg on the dash

Hey guy I'm new here and just bought a silver 2012 fiesta s with the 6 speed auto last night. I was worried about the powershift tranny after reading some reviews but I didn't seem to see any problem with it. After driving many different mustangs for years I was surprised by how much pep this little car has. Very happy with my purchase. Anyway my question is how can I pull up my MPG on the dash? Or is my car not equipped with this feature since it is the base model?

I don't think the S trim level has the trip computer. You will be forced to use math!!!

Congrats btw!

my 2011 base model will display mpg on the dash either through the trip meter button, or the button on the the end of the directional lever. The trip meter button must be used to reset, and the display is optimistic by a few %, so if you must calculate by pen and paper for 2012, you will at least be more accurate.

SledZepplin,

You can't reset the trip by pushing and holding the stalk?

Yeah, of course it works. I tried it once when new and must have slipped or something. I've just assumed since then resets had to be done on the dash. I learned something new, now I can go back to sleep.
