I feel there should not be any threads allowed that promote putting HID's in Halogen Housings.
I second not making any threads on putting turbos in your car since its illegal in most states to modify your cat, oh no window tint threads either since thats illegal in certain states as well. In fact, lets just stare at the screen and contemplate on what we can't post.

Laws are great, because I think it's better then chaos. Although I do believe for the most part you should be able to run free and wild and swing your fist around, SO LONG AS IT DOES NOT ADVERSELY AFFECT OTHERS.

Tint is illegal so that when cops approach you, they can see in your car, but you driving around in a tinted car has ZERO affect on me. Putting a turbo on your car is not illegal......not being able to pass emmissions is. I agree, do not modify a street car to the point that it does not pass emmisions.

Someone driving around in a car that blinds on-coming traffic is just straight up rude and a hazard and I really do hope a cop will pull them over and issue them a ticket to correct thier obvious lack of judgement or flat out stupidity.

You can turbo a vehicle and it still passes emissions if it were illegal Subaru, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Audi, VW, Ford, GM yadda wouldn't be selling what they sell here, nor would any Big Rigs have the power to pull their loads. So please put actual facts together, it is legal to turbo your car and still pass emissions like stated, but messing with your emissions isn't a hazard to my eyes. It will not cause me to go blind and possibly have a wreck.

It is NOT legal to modify your catalytic converter in California, which is what you have to do to to add a turbo. It's a hazard because I can't breathe as clean, subtle long term damage I guess.

You can have a turbo car as long as your state permits you to, some states only require 1 cat, most cars come with what? 3 now? So get your fact straight.

In fact, lets go back to prohibition while we're at it. We all know the outcome of that.

Not necessarily. There are some CARB acceptable aftermarket turbocharger kits or modifications, as well as CARB acceptable OBD-II and non-OBD-II aftermarket replacement catalytic converters:

I have a question, is a modified cat going to blind me and possibly cause me to drive into the ditch or into another car that might be in the lane by me? No, it won't if its done poorly it will probably brighten my day and make me laugh at the idiot kid who more than likely thinks his car sounding like an angry hornets nest is really cool, after all fart cans, wings, and stickers add horse power yo!
