![]() Just picked up my Lightbar from Primitive Racing this week. Hopefully I can get the 2 driving lights and 2 fogs hooked up over the weekend. So now we have the skid plate installed, light bar installed, and Schroth 4 point belts on drivers side (passenger side soon). Need a roof rack and couple more snow tires and we'll be set for the Thunderbird Rally in February. Last edited by BrickinIt; 01-05-2012 at 09:48 PM. |

I didn't know that Primitive was making a light bar for these.
I'm curious how Paul got his to work on the car. Any pics? Maybe i can make mine better or easier to work with for my rally car. hehe. I could just call Paul too and bust his hump... |

Yeah ... while I was there and had a hand in it, I get a lot of help from Paul, so I don't want to get in trouble for giving out too much info. You'll have to give him a call ... just not tomorrow, I'll probably be there ... just kidding. It is very sturdy.

Sorry about the picture not working, I changed it on my website, which is where I was pulling it from. It should be fixed now.
I have set aside time on Saturday to wire up the lights. So hopefully, I'll be posting up the pictures later that day. PIAA fogs on the bottom and Hella driving lights on the top. |

Out of curiosity, how does this hook up to the car?? Does it just bolt onto the Primitive skid plate?? This thing is pretty cool. I'm definitely saving up and getting the skid plate and rally light bar from Primitive. I'm happy to finally see some real rally parts for the fiesta instead of ken block flaunting his wicked monster in our faces with no hope for the rest of us, haha. Thanks for sharing.

It goes through the grill and bolts up to the steel bumper/subframe. You need to drill 4 holes into that, and it just bolts up. I am hoping to get my lights wired this coming weekend (once again, weather permitting). I'll take some more pictures. It is a very sturdy light bar. On the production units, the lower cross bar will be a bit lower down on the bar. This is the prototype pictured. |
