Was parked next to a 2012 "Fashionista" coloured Fiesta today.

Weird colour for Ford UK to choose. I could understand the Asia market getting this as I think they like gold-ish type coloured cars but the UK!? :-s

Suppose its something different. Looks kinda smart I guess. Personally I wouldn't buy it. I like the mini spanner wheels these 'Zetec' models now get though.

For the benefit of those who may not know...

UK > US Translator: Spanner = Wrench

That being said, Chrysler cars were commonly advertised with that gold color in the late 90s -early 2000s. If you look at the adverts, Dodge almost always was shown in red, Plymouth in silver or white, and Chrysler in Gold. Seriously, look it up...

Chrysler

Plymouth

Dodge

Really? So why do you's pronounce JAGUAR as jag-waar. We say jag-you-are

And Hyundai - don't you's say HUN-DAY or something? We say HI-UN-DYE

(English UK and English US differences kinda interest me, and I love American accents, so cool sounding).

There is one thing I recall from my trip to Sydney... the Ozzies and the Brits (when referring to 'getting used to something') use the word acclimatise [uh-cly-muh-tyz] (sp?) and we say acclimate [ak-luh-mate]
