Well ...... I was able to drive early builds of all the vehicles above and enjoyed myself yesterday even though it rained a bit on us!!!!!!!!! I would have to say that if the Fiesta had a 2.0L in it that it would be a much more enjoyable vehicle to motor in. 150 HP would make it a very sweet ride!! The 2012 Focus performance was very nice, the car handled very well and the auto trans shifted much better than my Fiesta. I think the added HP helps to smooth the trans out. My wife would like the Focus better because it doesn't have the harshness that the Fiesta has (larger wheelbase). However, I think I still like the styling of my Fiesta better (even though the Focus is nice). The smallness of the Fiesta makes it a much sweeter car!!!!! The Focus ST should be a barn burner!!!!!! The European C-Max Grand was more fun to drive cause it had a manual trans in it!!! The vehicle felt a lot like the Focus in performance and handling. The styling is more "Fiesta like". Anyone who prefers a "mini van like" vehicle should like it very much ... but I am not a mini van lover. You can't go wrong with this vehicle if that is what you need and like!!!! I was pleasantly surprised by the new Explorer. I didn't think I would like it but I did. It was responsive, good performance, comfortable and very quiet!!! The new Edge and MKX were exactly what I expected and more. I have owned 2 MKX's and this one is much better. The new My Ford & My Linc Sync systems are FANTASTIC!!! Also, the Mustang's were very fun to drive (V6 and V8). I thought my partner driving the V8 was gonna crash the car due to too much performace for him to handle!!!! The Fiesta's we had were 2011's so they were what I expected since I own one. My partner liked the sedan better cause it is bigger outside but I prefer the hatch. I also drove the Honda Fit .... larger but boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not a trucker ... but the Super Duty Diesel handled well and the Raptor was much more fun to perform in!!!! Part of the day was to get to know the new My Ford/My Linc Sync systems better. Tried out the Nav systems and sync systems .... and learned a few things I did not know my Fiesta did ... like it will read to you all of the directions you will take in advance if you ask it to do during the Services Directions download!!! OVERALL impressions are that Ford is on a roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how safe it is for a child though in the event of a crash? This car has no real pull for me, but if I had children it might and their safety would be a primary consideration.

Is that "our" Fiesta Yellow Blaze Metallic? If this comes in 3DR I know I'll be seeing one in my cousin's driveway. He loves his 3DR Focus.

Based on the pictures alone, it looks like the colour has a bit more "orange" to it than the Yellow Blaze. |
