Ford Filling 7,000 Jobs In U.S. : The Two-Way : NPR

According to The Detroit News, "that includes 4,000 blue-collar jobs and 750 salaried positions in 2011, plus another 2,500 factory jobs in 2012" and is "fresh evidence of the U.S. auto industry's recovery.

Every Fiesta bought helps make this possible. When I tell people that I am happy to have been able to buy from an American automaker they say, "not that it was built in America!" I always reply, "but the money flows home at the end of the day!" I'm glad to see Ford is doing well and that buying American brands, even manufactured elsewhere in the world, still means helping American companies.

I found out that if I had waited, the hospital I recently started working at a week ago offers discounts through Ford and GM. I could have gotten another $400 off my Fiesta!
