I'm losing my Fiesta

Well the end of the week has arrived and my wife will be back home to take possession of the Fiesta. I had a full week of being the only driver and had gotten to really know the car better than before. I'm going miss it. I had a blast driving it. The more I drove the better I liked it. Each time I'm in it it felt more and more comfortable. I was actually not minding some of the little negatives that we all talk about on this forum. I need to come up with a reason not to let her have it back and let her drive the big van instead. If only!!!!

Oh noes! Tell her there's something that might be wrong with it and you need to keep an eye on it for a few months...you know...to keep her safe.

Unless you really, really need the van you should tell her that you need to trade the van for another Fiesta, especially since gasoline had gone up so much this last week!

Van needs to be traded as has been mentioned. Gas has jumped 20 cents in the last 2 weeks here. A van has to drink a lot of it - would it not be more economical to cut back? <shrug> There might be a good argument in there somewhere.

Hurry up and trade it in on a Fiesta... right after she steps in the door and you comment at how she has lost weight and looks ravishing, tell her instead of wearing matching sweaters to show how much you adore her, you thought you would prove your love even more by having a matching car? Just in case you might want to make sure a dozen long stemmed are delivered right after she realizes you just bought another new car.

That's why we bought the Fiesta to begin with. However, I would never give up my beloved GMC Safari or Chevy Astro van. Best vehicle I ever owned, had one (#4) since they came out in 1985. I don't know what I'm going to do when this dies. So far no other van or SUV or truck comes close to the performance or functionality of this van. Besides, we tow a camper in the summer and the rest of the family uses it for hauling furniture and other large items. If push came to shove and I had to make a choice...Fiesta would have to go!
