And now I hate my Fiesta. Its that good. All the cool things about a Fiesta are in the Focus, plus a whole lot more! I'm not sure about the lower spec Focii but the Titanium is the freakin bee's knees! A lot more space and it feels almost "Lexus-like" inside. I'm seriously thinking of trading in... but the wife won't let me. I shoulda waited 2 more months... Oh well.

I had a 2012 focus as a rental while I was waiting for the Fiesta to come in, and it is indeed a pretty fantastic car.
It wouldn't be near the 16k I paid for the Fiesta, though.

Oh I know that! The Titanium I drove was 27K, my Fiesta was 19k, but I still want it...

Let me repeat that. 27K for a Ford freaking Focus.

I've driven the Fiesta twice and the 2012 Focus once, and I definitely preferred the Focus. The Fiesta's a great car, but the Focus just magnifies all the Fiesta's strong points, IMO. It's a fantastically solid and refined car, and fun to drive to boot.
And please can we stop getting hung up on the $27k price tag? Remember all the people going "OMG a $23k Fiesta?!?!" At that price it's got leather, a voice-activated touchscreen navigation thingy and can freaking park itself; the Focus I drove has all the basic goodness of that car and cost $5,000 less. |

I know that as well. But this is not the Focus of 'ol. Our Fiestas have taken over Fords entry level spot so the Focus has moved up.

27,000 WOW i would never ever pay that for a focus. Bad history with them and i could get something sweeter for around the same price.

Not when I could get into something like a Nissan Altima 3.5SR for that price range. It's a freakin' Focus, come on. If you need your car to park itself, you shouldn't be driving.
![]() I'm one of those people. If I had $23k to spend on a car, it sure as hell wouldn't be a Fiesta. I've never understood buying tons of options on a car when you can use that money to step up into a bigger better vehicle. Everyone has their own prerogative though.
