LCD spedometer LCD color navigation The extra buttons for the music control skip / fast forward or next track for music the bass is making me go wtf comes with "oh sh#$*" handlebars funny, my wife tried grabbing the "oh sh#$" handlebars when i was sliding in ice in March. Shes like OMFG I HATE UR CAR, HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! ![]() They best fix the Fiesta up like they did with the Focus, I am planning to hand these keys to my wife and getting me the 2012 version. |

Totally different class of car, doesn't matter what you buy there's always something newer and better out there to lust after.

I keep thinking the Focus will be my "move up" car after the Fiesta, but even though it's got more features and room, I don't think it looks as good as the Fiesta.

Have to disagree: The leather wrapping in the Focus is a mess; the stitching pattern looks like a three-year-old put it together... In the Fiesta, the quality of the leather wrapping and stitching looks far better.
(I admit though that the Focus wheel is a better shape with better buttons, and a thinner rim which I prefer.) I like the quietness of the Focus; and I like the Autolamp feature. But overall, the Fiesta front end looks better - until the Focus ST comes out.

I'm with you there ... I looked at a fully loaded '12 Focus Hatch at the dealer today while waiting on my car. They'd best get quality up before too many leave the plant. Stitching was a mess - and I could see that through the windows.
As for autolamps - if thats daytime running lights (DRL) - look in (I think) the Service Bay here and search for "DRL" or "running lights" ... you can have them with a bit of programming of the ECM.

Ford would not make a car that directly competes with its own models. There are overlap in buyers for Fiesta and Focus, but really they are meant for different types of drivers. They handle differently, have different features, different marketing, and different price points. Some people will buy Fiestas that should have bought a Focus, and vice versa. Also, there is always new hotness out there.

Plus things like the LCD speedometer don't really add anything and an inexpensive Garmin GPS is at least as effective as a built in navigation system. |
