Well it's a manufacture car (or test vehicle), so they can do pretty much whatever they want. Get around U.S. safety requirements, smog, paint a car a color not actually available or put on random badges.

I thought the RS 500 was only available in flat black foil wrap... I want.

The RS500 did only come in a satin black finish, the satin black vinyl was applied over gloss black cars so the green one above is not a true RS500.

Man I love that vinyl treatment. There is a Prius on Priuschat with it and damn is it hot, everything is satin black on it.
