Default Holiday road

Where have you taken your Fiesta on extended driving trips?

Farthest trip I've done was to Mansfield, Mo., to the Laura Ingalls Wilder home site and then over to Springfield, Mo., to the Wilson's Creek Civil War battlefield.

I'm hoping in September to head out to South Dakota to the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. (I could die happy after seeing that.)

Share your summer/fall road trip plans here!

One week road trip this month.
Burlington, On, Canada, to Boston Mass, USA (520 miles, 841km)
Boston to Ogunquit Maine, USA (71 miles, 115km)
Ogunquit to Montreal, Quebec, Canada (341 mi, 553 km)
Montreal back to Burlington, On (352mi, 571km)

So ~1280 miles / ~2080 km over 7 days

I'll be taking a trip up through British Columbia through the Yukon to the Beaver Creek border crossing into Alaska. The old ALCAN highway. Now known as the Alaska highway. TONs of wicked wilderness, mountains, lakes, bears, trees, RVs...

The two biggest highlights are Muncho Lake in Northern BC, and Kluane Lake in the Yukon...

YouTube - ‪Talking Beaver on the Highway‬‏

If you see him, let me know.

I'd love to see more of Canada. By "more" I mean, longer than the 10 minutes we drove across in 2001 to say, "We went to Canada, here we are by a sign that says 'Alberta.'"

Just got back from a trip 'up north', spent the weekend on the lake in slightly northern MI, Fiesta was a comfortable on the hwy and a blast to drive on the twisty roads around the water. Excellent weekend!

Longest I've taken mine from home was a little 200mi both ways trip to Rochester, MN. That was pre Flowmaster exhaust, not sure how I'd like the drone at 75-80mph...I guess I'll find out when I go to our little Fiesta meet in Minneapolis.

Great, I've got that song stuck in my head now. Thanks!

The farthest I've gone in my Fiesta is from my house to PSU. It's about 4 hours and is an incredibly boring drive... However, even though I'm 6'7" I never feel the need to get out and stretch my legs, and having my thumb drive connected to sync... I don't think I'll ever be able to live without that...

I'm also trying to plan a road trip to Atlantic City in August. Gonna try my hand at poker, not for capital gain, just because it's fun

Driving from KC to Cedar Grove, Wisconsin in a few weeks. Should be just under 10 hrs, by far the biggest test for my hatch thus far. Taken a few 3-4 hr drives already, and it's so much better on long hauls than i was expecting!
