I stumbled across this on the LATimes website.
Vehicle complaint database.
I searched for the Fiesta and saw some complaints pop up that I hadn't seen on the forum, such as problems with the front headrest.
Thought some might find this interesting.

That headrest one is just stupid...did that person even drive the car before buying?

Lots of transmission "issues" based on how the car shifts too...Ford is shooting themselves in the foot with this transmission.

Maybe they should option a regular auto for big dummies who have never had a stick?

I don't think he meant it like that. I think he meant that you at least had the foresight to research what your car was all about before pulling the trigger for it or moaning about it on a forum. The PS is not a POS, it acts to me like an intelligent manual that shifts automatically. Or something...

There are definitely a lot of legit complaints about the transmission but being jerky is not one of them.

Complaining about the headrest is dumb. People need to consider all aspects of the car, via test drives and research, before they buy. This is driver error. Some of the transmission issues reported, I think, sound like driver miseducation or error as well.

I thought the site was interesting to search through. I put in all the cars I've driven in my time and saw all the "problems." None of which I've ever experienced.

Definitely interesting...surprising how much trivial, bunk, or just plain bs stuff was in there though.

Do they even look at these things if there aren't a bazillion of them?

Interesting to see claims of "unintended acceleration". Does anyone think this is really an issue with drive by wire or are people trying to jump on the legal bandwagon and try to juice Ford like they did with Toyota?
