Here are some of the replies I got today about the spoiler and body kit from both my zone rep. and from FLA.

Bill,
thanks for the updates concerning the parts. I knew the body kit was a dealer installed option, but did not know the wing was. I hope there is not an additional installation cost for those parts. I could probably install them better than most shops, so I would just do it myself. As for June/July delivery, I think that is good. I am expecting anywhere from June to September to see my car. It took 6 months for my Focus to be built on a retail order, so I am cautious. I will be renting my SVT Focus back from my dad (I sold him my car a few weeks ago) from the time my Fiesta goes back and my personal one arrives. He is hoping to have the Focus back by July.

Got an e-mail, not from Ford but from another Fiesta Forum saying that ordering begins the 15th. So we keep getting different dates. I'll take the lead from the reservation team and place my order when ever they contact me and give me the go-ahead. It also said there are now 6000 reservations on file.
@foolishfocus I'm going for a sedan and I can tell you that the pictures don't lie. However you feel about the pictures is how you will feel about it in person. The trunk is huge but the lid and the pass-through are small. If you need to load bulky items you should stay with the HB. @BRGT350 I would certainly hope they can get cars ordered now delivered well before September. They are encouraging retail orders for this car in an unprecedented way and many of these orders will come from coveted young customers who have never considered Ford before. They need to do everything they can to make the process quick and smooth. I've seen that the reservations will get "priority" but I'm not quite sure what that means. |

I just noticed something I had not noticed before.
When selecting the Sport Appearance Package on the SE hatch there is a spoiler being added which looks like the EAP one except without a tail light. I didn't notice that before. Was that always the case? Is it something new? Is it a bug in the system? |

Open the Fiesta Build site in two separate tabs and build a standard SE up to the paint choice level and build the SE with "Sport Appearance Package" in the other. Spin the car around to the same view in each tab and click back and forth between them. It's definitely different. *OK, I just built the SES with the "Euro Rear Spoiler" ($295) and it is the same spoiler. The image of the spoiler from the "Sport Appearance Package" on the SE is just not being displayed properly (no highlights or shading). Last edited by iamz; 02-13-2010 at 09:47 AM. |

I found out why today talking with a Fiesta Rep as to why the 17 inch rims were removed. It was due to safety regulations to simply sum it up. Ford could not get the rims to work since they were straight European.
