Who here actually ordered a Fiesta?

I should be scheduled sometime today. My buddies have week of 4-26-2010 build dates and VIN's assigned, and I expect that will be the same for me.

The latest on my Fiesta order is that the Reservation team gave me the wrong code when I called them, and that's the code I gave to the dealer. In better news, I just saw on Facebook that dealers are getting build dates. Hoping to hear about mine soon.

I ordered my Fiesta on Feb. 15th and have received my Fiesta flash drive. I wonder when I'll receive notice that mine has a build week assigned?

I just checked my reservation number that I was given in December when I reserved my Fiesta,which was the one that I used at the dealer to order my Fiesta,and compared it to the email that I recieved saying that I could order my Fiesta now and I also had two different numbers.
I emailed my reservation specialist and asked her to fix it so I don't lose any of the benefits. I am not as worried about the flash drive as much as I am about losing my build status and SYNC and Premium Sound Rebate.
I will post response when I get one and would suggest that any one else that reserved early and hasn't gotten a flash drive in the mail,or has already ordered their car but still got an email saying that they can now order their car,make sure that your reservation numbers match what the lastest email shows.
If not I would contact your reservation specialist and see if they can fix it.
Even better I know that there is a reservation specialist,Matthew Wolfe,that post on this board at times and if you read this then post on here what we need to do to fix this. I hope it doesn't involve resubmitting order now and delaying arrival of my car even further.

I stopped in the dealer on Thursday, and there has been zero action on my order. No flash drive either. With my luck, they probably failed to actually order my car.

after seeing them both in person I'm tempted to skip the 2011 Fiesta and wait for the 2012 Focus. I like the Focus front fascia and rear disc brakes. but it's bigger and heavier than the Fiesta of course. I like the Fiesta 98" wheelbase and lower curb weight. When I did the Fiesta safety run on Belle Isle it was amazing through the slalom.

That seems odd considering your involvement with the whole Fiesta Movement and now being a Fiesta Expert. My dealer said Ford is making sure the Reservation orders are real by having the dealers scan the drivers licenses of the people ordering. Did your dealer do that?

In my case, I told my dealer to lower the priority on my order if they could because I don't want to take delivery until July or August or later. They may just wait a couple of weeks before entering it in the system in order to delay the car. The Reservation site says you just have to sign a purchase order by May 3rd, and I already did that so I guess I can't loose my $595 cash rebate.

I went back into my dealer to give them my driver's license and sign the build order. They of course didn't explain anything really or tell me about a build date. I think I'll give them a call today.

The dealer may not have the build week or VIN yet. The plant has just began scheduling orders this week. I suggest checking on Friday, because the vehicle scheduling systems normally get updated overnight on Thursday.
