You guys have to actually submit it through their online rebate form submission tool... It requires to to take a short quiz about the warranty and then the money should be directly refunded to you (money was given directly to my paypal account). Should take at most a couple of weeks.

Same here, no rebate. I think it's in their business plan considering the hassle of their quiz. .

Very strange that a number of people have had issues with the rebate and think it's so difficult. I thought it was pretty easy myself. Here's the breakdown of my experience. Sunday 1/22/12: Purchased the Ultragauge, paid via PayPal Monday 1/23/12: Ultragauge shipped via USPS Priority Wednesday 1/25/12: Ultragauge received Went through the rebate process (see below for more details) Thursday 1/26/12: Rebate received via PayPal I'm not sure what people find so difficult about the rebate process either, it's pretty much just doing some things you need to do anyway; reading the instruction manual and connecting the Ultragauge to your car. I went to the web address listed on the sheet included in the box, read the question that was presented, skimmed the page for what they were looking for (usually pretty obvious anyway), and answered the questions. After that I connected the Ultragauge to the car, set the fuel tank size, engine size, and ran the factory test. I snapped a cell phone picture of the screen with all the codes that were needed, then finished filling out the form on the web page. Next was printing the rebate form itself as well as the liability waiver form, signing, initialing, and dating as needed. I then scanned those forms and the packing slip and e-mailed it to the appropriate address. I think it actually took me longer to type up this reply than to go through the process of submitting the rebate form

The form required a person to read the complete manual and answer questions like a school test before you could get your rebate. Anybody that could not install one without the manual shouldn't buy one. All that nonsense was designed to weed out people that didn't want the hassle, which many people don't which means many people not sending in the rebate. Kind of like those pesky mail in rebate's, for which I still have some that have never been paid back. All you should have been required to do was enter the serial number and date purchased and your name.

I would guess that 90% of the people don't need to read the manual, but there is some good information in there...that's why they wrote the thing. And even if you don't need to read the manual to install it there might be features you weren't aware of available if you did take the time to read it.
