One Year
Tomorrow marks one year since the first American Fiesta delivery, to our own eRic.

It's been a somewhat bumpy 1st year with the delivery problems last summer followed by transmission problems that persist to this day. However, I think the majority of owner experiences have been good and we've built by far the best online community of any car I've owned. My hopes for year 2: *A definitive fix for the automatic transmission problems. *More consistent dealer inventory. Not the feast or famine we've been having. *A significant new powertrain and/or trim option (ST?) to put Fiesta back on the front pages.

I suppose I should wash it or something... it now has 19,431 miles.
 I was hoping to hit 20,000 and get the oil change done tomorrow. That would have been cool.

I'll be at 10K miles around July 1 and still lovin' it! Talked with my salesman yesterday ... they can't keep Fiestas on the lot, but also cannot do any dealer trades because of the upcoming new models and the others wanna keep the inventory on their lots! <shrug>
He's had several potential Fiesta buyers go elsewhere because of this. They get 1 or 2 lot cars in and they're gone in a week or less.

Your mileage looks like our Prius, she just turned 2 and has 41k on her.
The Fiesta is not so much a mileage queen for us, lease keeps us to 12k a year.

I think my dealer had a hard time finding a dealer that would trade with him to get the color option combo I wanted. But the pull it off in the end.

Our SES just turned 22,000 on the odometer, on Sunday. That's a ton of miles for the first year, sure, but at least those miles were (thankfully) about 85% highway-driven!

Thats a great sign for Ford. Hopefully the "globalized" Ford retains its quality and reliability.

Maybe a little unhealthy...
I ordered my Fiesta 1 year ago today. I didn't receive it until nearly November (10/28 to be exact). Today it hit the 10k mile mark.
I couldn't be more pleased with my Fiesta. Love her more and more.
