Default A/C not cold enough

I noticed what i could call a problem with my fiesta, the ac is not really cold, more like a cool breeze. Noticed it over a week long, with temperature overing around 30 to 46 celcius. The fiesta is struggling to keep the air cool enough while my girlfriend's civic a/c is plenty cold enough. I noticed even my sister fiesta shoots cooler air than mine (i have a SE and she's got a SES)

do i have a factory freak out ?

also, anyone has a got a problem with a squeeky passenger side door window when it's rolling upward ?

I'd have it looked at, considering you and your sister have essentially the same vehicle.

My A/C is plenty cool on "1" with the dial turned all the way blue. I've used it briefly on 2 as well, but it's not been over about 83-84 since I got my Fiesta. I'd have it looked at; may not be working properly.

I think you will find that the majority of A/C systems in the fiestas are poor
Ive gone through two summers here in mine and it really struggles takes atleast an hour to get the car cool.I was told that they have over gassed the cylinders which makes them perform poorly.

I see you're in Australia and I don't know about Australian Fiestas but A/C complaints about Fiestas here in the states are rare. It's been above 90F and often above 100F all over most of the country and even some parts of Canada and the Fiesta A/Cs are keeping everyone cool at a low setting on the fan without any difficulty. A lot of us here are in subtropical Florida and we're keeping cool. Some are in Iowa which has been having heat so hot it's been buckling asphalt but they seem to be keeping cool. Anyone that isn't should take their car to a dealer because there's clearly something broke.

We've been having temps about 100F here in Metro DC. The AC did fine when it had been parked all day in a garage with the windows cracked. Yesterday I left it out in nearly 100F with windows closed and, understandably, the AC had some trouble cooling it down, although it did get to an acceptable, but far from comfortable level in the 15 minutes I drove it after that. I don't think any other car I've had would have done any better. Driving in extreme heat is just tough sometimes.

I have no problems with mine. Are you sure you're using recirculation after about a minute of operation?

Another one with no issues. Especially with tint, cools off fast and stays cool.

Friday was 100 on the gage and I forgot several times how hot it was outside because it was so comfortable in the car.

Definitely get it looked at.

Yeah, get it looked at. I just came back from a trip to South Carolina. On my way back the outside temperature read 106 degrees, yet I was comfy cool in the Fiesta with the fan speed on 2 and normal air circulation when driving on the highway.

mine's not great either. it needs to be on fan speed 3 or 4 to feel anything. the air doesn't feel that cool and doesn't blow out enough even at those speeds it seems. granted it's been hot but after being in the car for a half an hour and it blowing out at speed 4, the car should be pretty cold and it just doesn't seem that it is :\
