Ford Fiesta ST

"The Fiesta ST will have an altered body for improved cooling, but may be available only as a three-door hatch. It will have better suspension tuning, possibly Recaro racing seats, some unique trim, 17-inch wheels, speed-rated performance tires and dual exhaust. Ford reportedly experimented with cramming the 2.0-liter engine from the Focus ST into this car. Unfortunately, that won't be coming to the showroom, partly because Ford is working hard to differentiate its two hot hatches. The automaker is launching them at least six months apart and trying to give the Fiesta as much of a sport focus as possible, while selling the Focus with more of an upscale feel. So expect the Fiesta to carry a directly injected, turbocharged 1.6-liter four.

We don't know the Fiesta ST's price yet, but one would think it couldn't go much higher than $23,000, with rivals like the Nissan Sentra SE-R coming in at $20,000 and the Civic Si smack at $23,000."

A friend told me about 3 weeks ago, "I need to save up $15000 so I can get a Sonic next year." I corrected him swiftly, "you mean Fiesta." He's since brought up, "when I buy my Fiesta." (: Sonic. Pfft.

If the Sonic had been available when I was needing to purchase a car, I would have immediately chosen that over the Fiesta, only so that I was NOT driving a Ford.
I still can't believe that I drive one. Neither can anybody else.
But I wouldn't trade my Fiesta for a Sonic. Noooo way.

The sonic is kinda neat looking, but only cause it looks a hell-uv-alot
like the Fiesta, or Focus for that matter.

Going to work yesterday a 2012 fiesta passed me on the highway,
or so i thought til i seen the (focus on the left side back and titanium
on the right side back.)

Guess that's why the article mentioned Ford is wanting to try and
differentiate the two as they look similar.

Liking and buying a Ford...?

My brother, who was anti ford, shakes his head and says, "where did Ford get this technology? I cannot believe I like driving a Ford".

My GF was totally anti Ford... Anti domestic... now she wants to buy one too...

I'm so impressed with this car... it keeps changing opinions about Ford...

Ford should aggressively offer test drives in Fiestas cuz once you try it....
