Soo im going to finally admit alittle buyers remorse with my Fiesta. I originally wanted the hatchback and the dealership pushed me into the sedan. I thought you know it would grow on me but it really hasnt. I cant get over how the rear of the sedan is i dont like it i like the hatch so much more.
So this brings me to my next point im considering trading it in for the Hatchback or maybe possibly the new focus but i highly doubt that because i love the Fiesta. What do you guys or gals think i should do?

Depends on how much you have left on it. If you can get the hatch and stay above water on the loan I would do it, but I would think the chance of that is low unless you put a lot down. You could maybe make it work if you trade it for an '11 hatch, but I would think it would be tough to do and get a new '12.

I'm in the same boat right now.
My only problem is the color. No 2011 candy red hatches available anymore. The total on my Fiesta was $13.8k with $6.5k down with payments of just under $400 monthly so the car will be paid off by next year. I'm really digging the hatches now and sort of wish I could trade my ride in for a 2012 hatch possibly. |

I'd be sad if I had a Sedan too. This situation is just tough. Finding a Monterey Grey hatchback in your region, used or otherwise, will be nearly impossible. I'd talk to your dealer and ask them to check the area for you, put out feelers, and see what sort of a deal they could offer. The 2012 you'd have to get another color.
A Focus is really a different car entirely.

You're losing money no matter what due to the depreciation. If it's your prerogative to throw away money for a different butt, so be it, but if you're going into a negative equity situation it's a really bad idea.

Sad in a manner that you've reached the pinnacle of Fiesta awesomeness and there was nowhere else to go but on to a bigger, better car?

really depends on how it would impact you financially. if you would end up owing more on your current fiesta than it's worth then it's not worth doing. see what the dealer will do for you and what the numbers work out to be, then take it from there.

Sad because my car would be a Failesta.

I know I've said this before: you're wrong, it's okay, I accept this about you.
