It doesn't sound like you placed a custom order, but instead found a Fiesta in your region waiting in dealer stock that fit your ideal build.

Yeah was I really that lucky? I was going to order one in my town but didnt want to pay sticker on a special order. So I found this one about 350 miles away. Wondering why more people don't do it that way.

There are many configurations available. If someone wants a specific setup it may not be available in their area. I custom ordered because if I am paying so much for something I want it to be exactly what I want without compromising.

Great.....mine is probably on the same schedule, sitting on a ramp just 4 away from yours. I wonder what the problem/excuse is this time. I'm going to check with my dealer and see if the have any info on a delay and what it might be.....I'll be checking out the Sonic if my Fiesta gets delayed much more.

when i bought mine it was on a truck for delivery to a nearby dealer. six weeks later it actually showed up.
