Default Keyed

At first I was reluctant to share this, but I figure its time. My car was keyed a few days ago at a senior grad party. Only the hood was damaged, but it's not pretty. There's alot of distinct marks all over the hood. Pics soon. I'm really really disappointed about this. The ICBC agent estimated a cost of $480 for the hood to be totally repainted. Its embarassing to drive around in such a beautiful car that someone drunkenly wrecked.

Instantly thought of this conversation:

Vincent: Aw, man. You know what some ****er did the other day?
Lance: What?
Vincent: ****ing keyed it.
Lance: Oh, man, that's ****ed up.
Vincent: Tell me about it. I had it in storage for three years, it was out for five days and some dickless piece of **** ****ed with it.
Lance: They should be ****ing killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.
Vincent: Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that ******* doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.
Lance: What a ****er!
Vincent: What's more chicken**** than ****ing with a man's automobile? I mean, don't **** with another man's vehicle.
Lance: You don't do it.
Vincent: It's just against the rules.

Thumbs down

$500 isn't that bad for something like that. Paint is stupidly expensive. Sad story though. :[

On the other side. Think of the mod opportunity. what color could you paint your hood other than the body color? Just saying...

If it's really an eyesore, try researching vinyl wraps for the hood. I know that there are carbon fiber vinyls out there which, while slightly cheezy, will fix it for a lot cheaper. That sucks, man, but I feel your pain. I live in an apartment complex known for its parties (I don't partake in them myself, it's just a cheap place to live, haha) and every time I go out to my Fiesta I cross my fingers that nothing has happened to it. I just wish that you could depend on college students to be obedient. Guess not.
