Default Why is the Fiesta perfect for your life?

The Fiesta really is perfect for my life. I'm 17 years old and still in high school. Rear seat room doesn't phase me. Cargo room is also abundant since the most that's ever back there is a snow brush and a backpack. The styling is really head turning, especially in the Tux Black Metallic. Interior is high class, things like heated seats and ambient lighting I love. People are saying that the SYNC system is buggy. Mines worked flawlessly with my iPhone 4 and Bluetooth audio is fantastic.

Perfect? No. Acceptable? Yes. I wanted a cheap car that got good mpg when I was shopping a year ago. $15500 out the door, I have my 5 speed SE sedan. I get about 35mpg all city, mostly aggressive driving. It was the best choice and most affordable B segment car in the area I live, so it was the only logical choice. Price was a big thing, as I wanted to pay for the car outright and have no loan. It's also the best looking and most fun to drive in its class.

Perfect for me would be a Jeep Wrangler that got great mpg and didn't cost $28k, but that's not a combo that will ever exist.

I originally bought my Fiesta because I was planning on moving and would have had a 120 mile/day commute. The move didn't happen, but I'm still glad I bought the Fiesta. I traded in a V8 SHO and a Mustang GT which both got horrible gas mileage since I pretty much never took them over 40mph. Low teens was typical MPG with them.

Plus, its nice to have a brand new vehicle with a warranty, tons more updated electronics and great handling. Even though the Fiesta is lacking in power over my previous V8s I don't mind it one bit.

Before the Fiesta I had a mid-sized car (Stratus) that I bought to handle long interstate drives. Since then I moved and my driving now consists of mostly short suburban spurts. I needed a car that was nimble and efficient but maintained as much long-haul comfort as possible. Over the past year the Fiesta definitely proved itself in my urban/suburban driving, but this past weekend I drove it back to some of my old haunts. I'm pleased to report that 3 days of long interstate stretches and mountain climbs didn't faze the Fiesta at all. In fact it outperformed the Stratus in just about every way, handling, quietness, ride, etc. So the Fiesta is not only perfect for my life now, it also would have been perfect at a time when my life was very different.

We got the Fiesta because we're retired, no kids at home.We don't need lots of passenger space.
The car with 6spd is an absolute blast to drive, makes a person feel young again and I imagine a young person glad he/she is.
It's sporty and luxurious, easy to get into, and you feel like you could drive forever.

They're slowly becoming more refined, at least in the cabin. Also they seem to be getting larger over the years. It's a vehicle that's tempting me a lot more now that they have the Pentastar instead of the anemic 3.8l.

For me the fiesta is the perfect compromise. i wanted to be able to downshift and take someone over when needed. have some fun factor, where turns are very nice in mountain roads. have a comfortable ride with a handsfree integrated system. the gas mileage was important but in europe everything is about this range now in the fiestas category. i can fit 4 people in without them complaining. lastly the look is similar to a lot that's out there, mazda 2, honda fit, toyota yaris and so on but i feel the fiesta holds it's own.

Personally i chose this car because of the price. I was in need of a new car as my Pontiac Grand AM SE (2000) was starting to spit out black crap from the exhaust, i'm sure it was oil blowing past the piston rings since oil was disappearing but not reappearing on the ground.

So i started looking at other used cars, but didn't really want to end up back in the same situation as i was with my Grand AM. As i was looking at an '06 Monte Carlo LS, this small blue car caught my eye. I looked at it, i was intrigued. 6 spd, sunroof, other cool features...i thought hell why not. 18k?

Did my research into it, found out it was nothing short of perfect. Ever since i bought it, i find these small surprises. I.E. L gear shifts down to lowest possible gear, no shift til redline; Sync's mobile apps etc etc.

More features in this car than i've ever had. I love how amazing the handling is, the MPGs, I feel like i have more control in the corners too. It's the best practical choice i've ever made.

I bought mine because I wanted something that was bigger and more snow capable than my Miata but wasn't so huge I couldn't park it in the city. Gas mileage was quite important too as the price has nowhere to go bit up. So far aside from the occasional Sync hiccup it's performed up to my expectations 100%.
