Freshly filled tank, possibly just reset the meter and hadn't even left the station far enough to get those MPGs up yet...? Plus the parking brake is on and the speedo is at 0, so probably still in a parking lot. I usually have to at least leave the parking lot and it takes me a couple miles of driving before I crack 30 again.
