So many Sonics!

Vacationing in Oaxaca, Mexico, I've seen dozens and dozens of Chevy Sonics. All sedans though, have yet to see a Sonic hatchback. I've seen one Fiesta. A black SE sedan. Outnumbered in its own home!

Rentals. Rental car companies buy what is cheap. It's a good thing you are not seeing Fiesta's.

They get their Sonics from Korea, I think. I know I heard US dealers actually have a shortage of Sonics.

Yeah Sonics around here are selling like hotcakes. I raced one the other day in my Fiesta and got smoked. It was rather embarrassing.

The Sonic is also heavier though. I raced the only one in town, which I know is an automatic, in my 5 speed 2 weeks ago. I was the victor. She probably didn't know we were racing, though.

wow its pretty amazing those things get sold actually, over here the dealer lot is stock with a bunch of those oddities , they are also cutting 3000$ off of them for them to clear the actual dealership parking lot and it aint working.

ford which is 900 meters north has a fiesta shortage in hatchback version
hyundai (30 meters from ford) has been having veloster and accent shortage for a month straight

If the dealers around here discounted sonics, I would be driving one now. The dealers are cocky and GM supposedly doesn't allow you to use more than $500 of your GM card allowance.
