Default Salvage fiesta hatch (looks loaded on eBay)

Ford : Fiesta Ford : Fiesta | eBay

Not mine, but figured I'd point it out as $6500 seems pretty low for what it is... looks like the drivers side has impact damage (I assume airbags went off probably)... anyways says it's pretty loaded...

There was contact info on the listing...

Just thought I'd pass it on....

The For Sale section is really meant for items being sold by our members.

I'll move this over to another section for any further discussion.

Salvage? Not me ... unless for parts. It does appear the upgrade package is on it for sure ... chrome beltline, heated seats, sync at least from what I saw in the pics.

Hm. The damage doesn't look terrible from the outside, I wonder how straight the frame is?

That's what I figured. For $6500. The damage doesn't look all that bad at all.

Depending on the book value, they take 70% of that to determine 'Fix' value, if the damage estimate comes to within 70% or so, they declare it a total loss. So, a fully loaded, one year old Fiesta has to be worth at least $10k, so there's got to be a substantial amount of unseen damage. If you buy this for $6500, and fix the car for $10k, you're basically paying for a new car..with none of the advantages.

my thought as well since it appears to straddle the B pillar. that may well be the reason for salvage/total from insurance perspective.

Looks like there is frame damage. See how the top of the rear door isn't lining up? The hinge points are damaged.
