Apparently Ford has a 125 day inventory of Fiestas.
Customers are stubborn - BostonHerald.com That's about twice the usual average. I'd like to know where all these Fiestas are. Certainly not at dealers in my area. Is Ford shipping them all to certain areas of the country while starving others? That would certainly explain why sales are down.

I looked on ford's website and searched out a base model no option S Sedan...
My closest dealer didn't have it... the 3rd on the list showed the car I ended up buying. I called the dealer looking to do a test drive and they said it wasn't on the lot but I could check out the other fiesta's they had if I wanted while they checked on the status of my car. Went and found one single fiesta auto something model.. lol (wasn't what I wanted but worked for the test drive). Was impressed and decided I wanted the car when it came in. It was supposed to arrive on the 26th of December... It finally arrived on the 31st, was marked sold three days before the truck even arrived! There NEVER seems to be any new ones sitting on the lot when I drive by (on a major raod I travel)... I have seen a green hatchback in a used lot for a few weeks but thats about it... I think it's like most entry cars, cheap price, decent MPG's are appealing to people with high gas prices and crappy job markets... Not sure who has them sitting on the lots unless they are out in cow country and no ones buying them since they can't pull their trailers... LOL

Florida, they're all over Florida. I drove by the dealer yesterday and there were probably a dozen Foci & Fiestas total at one of our local dealers. Not to mention the fact that I see them around everywhere.

Mine has a bunch of Foci on the lot... But the fiesta is a different story... That was the other thing... the stick shifts, the next closest besides the one I bought was over 100 miles away on the eastern side of ohio (I live on the border of ohio and indiana)... My dealer said my car was their first stick shift sedan... and it sold before it even arrived on the truck...

I was in for a check engine light yesterday, my local dealer has three on the lot. There is the red ses I ordered when we were looking for mine, a green se hatch and a red sFe sedan. This is a small town dealership not some giant mega store.

I just bought mine on Saturday and the closest manual was in San Diego. So my happy little camper started it's new life with 400 miles on it. I balanced it out though put a 100 on it the next day
![]() The lot here had two a SES auto and a white SE auto. They had sold the other four in the last two days. My rep said they couldn't keep them on the lot. |

Well, that kind of news is news to me. Everyday it seems like I keep seeing more and more Fiesta's around town. Lots of sedans and hatches everywhere. I knew this would happen eventually. The dealership has told me that the Fiesta's are literally flying off the dealership lots. Lime green seems to be a popular color. I don't think I have seen another blue flame or blue candy car though. I kinda feel unique I guess.

I'm surprised that the Fiesta isn't even advertized around here. From the Baltimore newspaper and TV car ads, you wouldn't even know it exists. Lots of Focus ads though.
The salesman my daughter bought her Fiesta from said they can't keep them in stock, but I think that's a line to get potential buyers to commit now. It certainly worked on my daughter anyway.
