I think DBS is correct as well. Phantom is July 2010 build and does not have the ability of turning it off. I tried turning it off on Cherri to see if I liked it better that way or not. <shaakes head> Nope ... it's back on.

All the more reason to send some "Winter lovin'" your way! You need about 3-4" of the stuff on ice to understand the fun we have up here in the snow belt.

Not to mention finding an empty parking lot and having some fun! I prefer Costco for drifts,

No Costco here, however a WalMart superstore, the local Middle School and a huge K-Mart lot are all within "striking" distance ... school only 1/2 mile form me.

If it gets too bad, try starting in second gear. A common thing back in the day.
That's a good idea, thanks. My question is will that damage/hurt the car in anyway?

Not really. We used to do it all the time back in the day.
Excessive slipping of the clutch, not necessary, would be the only thing .

If you are tired of the snow, the mountains around here could use it, lowest snow pack on record. Luckily last year was very wet.

If you really want to do some "hooning" on ice, check out A.M.E.C. Ice Racing.
The Adirondack Motor Enthusiasts Club, inc. (AMEC) has a Street Legal class.
Racing this Sunday at Caroga Lake NY.
Check it out.
