Guys! I am looking at pictures of my hatch back car now! and I really like the rear design of this car.
I know that I bought this car for work. and my brother advised me to go with sedan, because of the better trunk size. and I was leaning toward a sedan, due to better offer from dealer. But I am glad that I chose look over useability! I can fit one standard suitcase in the trunk and thats all I want now! What do you think? hatchback or sedan?

The Hatch's seem to have a decided edge as far as looks go. And I tend to agree. But both look good.

I'd buy my car again in a heart beat. I don't understand the question.

Sedan looks a little different from the rear, not bad, just a little odd (I like Aud things...). From the side the sedan looks great though. The hatch looks ok from the side up until it suddenly drops off like someone forgot to add a trunk...and from the back it just looks like any other hatch...

Telero is phishing for a like (parenthetical trickery!) I'm not falling for it; this time.

For one standard suitcase, the hatch may be better. I can fit 2 large wheeled suitcases that hold 2 weeks of travel clothes and gear in the trunk of either sedan.
If you run two sets of tires and/or rims I know for a fact that the trunk of a sedan can hold 4 rim/tire setups (15") without dropping a seat. My Goodyear store proved it to me. But ... it is really an individual choice. I did not like the chopped off look to the hatch ... almost like an incomplete auto. And I did like the extra crush space a trunk affords (if rear-ended) before something causes the rear seats to move too much.

Hatchback is all that's available for me, but it's a very good car, without doubt I'd go for the hatch over the sedan if I had the choice.
When lowered with the Zetec S (not sure if this is available outside of the EU) it looks and feels great, the handelling is spot on and the feedback from the wheel is good too, which a lot of it's competitors (Citroen DS3, Vauxhall Corsa, Renault Clio) can't get near, although it's not the quickest, it's an amazing car to drive and good fun when wanted. I've never had a problem with storage and boot space, though then again I did have a Chevrolet Matiz before it, so I've learned to conserve space. All in all, a great little car. |
