IMO, I like the idea of the Fiesta sharing the look of the Fusion. I don't mind the EB10 in the 120 plus hp as the current D16 replacement. Better power and torque-band plus better fuel economy all sound like a win to me. A revised dash (I don't mind MFT) again, to share with the rest of the lineup sounds great.
If those who aren't into a 3 cylinder, I hope the current D16 gets an upgrade. DI and 140hp and 130-5 lb-ft would be just fine.
Anyone know when this MCE will launch?

What if the spy photo of the camo-ed car is just the ST version, and there is no visual revision on the regular model? It would be weird for Ford to re-tool in Mexico after only 2 years of production, but maybe the body parts are made elsewhere, so they've been stamping them longer?

Most cars get a "refresh" about every two years anyway. New plastic and/or sheet metal. The underlying chassis stays the same for longer.

Indeed , was in Canada over the Christmas holidays and when I see the N.A. Fiesta with the tiny wee trapezoid I feel sorry for you guys. It so less aggressive looking and tamed down. I am sure there are many who prefer this softer look, but IMO it just looks wrong.

Anyway here is a nice rendering for the facelift

I read that June 04 is the start of production for the North American 2013

While it's obviously a European model, I'm intrigued about the 5-bolt wheels in the rendering. If so, could rear discs be in the offering, too?

Remember it's just a rendering. The Ecosport and B-Max currently have a 4-bolt pattern. I would think the new Fiesta will still retain the 4-bolt pattern.

That's correct (Ford / Lincoln / Mercury Cars (Build Out Final Order Start Up Dates)). However, I think ours will be carryover for '13 and we'll get the update for MY '14. Ford can't redo ALL their cars for 2013.

It's definitely different.... But not necessarily better, IMO. I think my '11 SEL will age very gracefully!
