Or like me, the dealer refuses to give you the plate mount because this state doesn't require it. However I'm moving to Texas in may, which requires the front plate. Not very happy bout that.

You could be a scofflaw and not put the front plate on, but TX has those pesky inspections. Boo! I'm sorry you're moving there; I'd not want to live there (visited several times).

Maybe I phrased that wrong but you know how there is a gap between the windshield and the dashboard on most if not all cars? The license plate is tucked in there just sticking above my wiper blade. The parking permit is tucked in upside down to the left (outside of the car) so that the numbers can still be read. So far no problems with the police or UTSA
