Default My dream Fiesta!

No, its not the RallyeCross race version, it is a white hatchback with the aero package.

What do you guys think?

Kind of reminds me of a newer version of my old ZX3

The picture of the Fiesta was taken at in the employee lot at Ford. This is the first car I have seen in the US with the aero package. Of course, this is the EU spec car.

the aero package does look quite nice. Despite not usually being a fan of white cars, I really enjoy the fiesta in white. I hope the US-spec version's nose is similar to the us verve. If they add too much to that nose, it might make the car's desing balance out of whack.

Wowza. The Fiesta carries off that white very nicely - not bland at all. Good find. Which bits, exactly, are the aero package? Does anybody know? I'm sure someone here does...

God I wish the Fiesta Movement cars had the Aero package. It REALLY makes the car look fantastic.

The aero parts are the chin spoiler and a larger rear wing. Ford UK website has some good pictures of the optional parts. If the parts are not going to be an option in the US, I hope somebody makes a highly accurate duplicate for our cars. I am assuming that the changes to the front bumper won't accept the EU chin spoiler, just like with the Focus. Nothing to back up my thoughts, so don't take that as I know what the US bumper is going to be.

Just returned from US (back to Finland) and ordered one 5 door 'sqeeze' with 90hp 1.6tdci engine as they seem to be available. Dealership claims 56mpg or 4.2l/100km in combined cycle, and even by European standards that is pretty damn good. Only thing that worries me a bit is whether or not this thing heats up at all during winter. Would not be the first really cold diesel around here :-/

Hei,hei jmk. Where abouts in Finland are you? I'm just next door in Tallinn.
Last time I was in Helsinki I could not believe how many new Fiestas I saw zipping around Helsinki.
Good choice on the 1.6tdci. What trim level did you go for, and did you go for any options?
How long do you have to wait for delivery of your Fiesta?
kiitos, kiitos!!

In Helsinki .. it's 5 door titanium with auto a/c, esp, cruise control, heated everything etc, so it should be pretty decent. They reckon I should get it by the end of July, but let's see. Nice to hear that there are people here from this corner of the earth too.

Anyhoo, having just cursed American cars for the past year or so, I was _really_ surprised finding myself buying one.
