That's what I figured. I'll have to go in and clean some images out; I'm "space poor" there at the moment.

Okay, I found a way to host a photo. It's not in stupendous light, or against an artsy or cool background, but I think the color is accurate:

After finally getting a day to get the car out in the sun, I thought I'd post up to those who might stumble on this thread and be looking for a "description" of what Yellow Blaze Metallic Tricoat actually looks like. The Fiesta brochure has too much variation in how the color is portrayed/reproduced. It is not school bus yellow, lemon yellow, DOT truck yellow or Ferrari/Ducati yellow. The undertone is much more predominantly in the gold spectrum, or in warm light, the orange spectrum. This would explain the "Blaze" in the color name. The appearance does vary a lot in different light or shadow, and the paint is so good that it has a lot of depth. Subtle it's not. Elegant, rich, interesting it is. But if you're expecting bright yellow along the lines of Mazda's RX-8 Competition Yellow, this isn't it.

We still dig it.

it's a gorgeous color! If it had been available on the SE model I would have had a hard choice to make between the Lime and that Yellow.

Excellent picture, Hoonu. You have the extra same car that I hope to take delivery of sometime this month.

Thanks! You're gonna dig it.

We've got the molded splash guards on the way (on the dealer's "We Owe" sheet). I want to get the time to detail it better than the dealer did, and get a coat of good wax on it. Less surface area than the Prius my wife is coming out of.

Default Bugs

Anybody else notice how much bugs like Yellow Blaze? I don't mean kamikaze bugs on the road, I mean once you stop! The same thing happened with my wife's yellow Miata. Pull into the garage in the evening and the bugs come in like the car's a porch light. Same thing while I was washing it today. Favorable UV reflectivity, mebbe?

You better! Your Fiesta doesn't exist unless you post pics.

Default ONE MORE HAS BEEN RELeaSED

So it's done, I have the mighty yellow fiesta in my possession now! so i'll go take some awesome pictures tomorrow (awesome only because of the car not my photo taking ability) and i'll post asap! it's just a plain 301 specked out, no moon roof,or leather but still an awesome car!

it's well worth the wait.
