Rodewaryer I'm looking at your photo. What brand/type of lights did you add in the lower grill?

BTW, nice fog light install too.

Luck and moving the highlights control full scale left. But I guess the shot has to be basically ok for it to work very well at all. :-)

Regarding the lights, now I just need another week to get the harness in. Probably take several more stints, one to find all the connecting points and figure the harness on paper, another to install it, and another to do the switch panel and figure a location. Light installs, when done right are a bloody lot of work.

I made an entry under exterior mods. No real details, just a separate thread for the lights. They're the little 3" Cibies they use in the Mercury Marauder.

Did you find a local installer forn the Clearshield? Another product you should look into for the headlights is Expel headlight protection. They come in about four different shades.

I did, a friend at work who recently got a new Mazda 3 had 18 inches done on his hood and the rearview mirrors done for about $180.00. Had a chance to see the quality of the job and was quite impressed. May call the installer monday to get a quote done.
Thanks for the info, i'll have to check out the headlight protection for sure.

My clear 'bra' 3m clear stuff was $550 for my Fiesta. Half the bonnet/hood, and that line wraps down to the wheelwells, everything on the front forward of that and the mirrors. Even a cute little patch in front of the rear wheel wells. Not sure what good that's going to do but they did it anyway. There was no pattern for the Fiesta when I had it done, so this was a custom wrap. I have a lot of permanent marks in it (the clear) already, it's working.

That's a very fair price. I actually paid a little more so you did quite well. Did they put a piece on the top of the rear bumper? If not, I recommend you get that too.

Here's a few websites for you......

Paint Protection Film - XPEL Technologies Corp.

Lamin-x Protective Films - Protect with Style

I've tried both products and I think the Lamin-X is thinner and fits better.

Bummer, no top of the rear bumper piece. I guess I'm just stupid, like forgetting to get the center of the rear splitter done in black. Yep, still feelin stupid about that one. So much for having it all together and in one sock huh?

It's not ugly but a satin black rear splitter would have been better. I'm adding that to the list of things to do, right now. :-)
