Production Aveo leaked:
2012 Chevrolet Aveo sneaks out of presentation — Autoblog I have to say, they've pulled off the sedan shape better than Ford. But even so, I'd still take the Fiesta =) |

Agreed here, that sedan is really promising. I actually think the front end execution on this Aveo is better than any version of the Fiesta. I'm still warming up to the interior. That digital instrument cluster takes a lot of getting used to. Of course the Fiesta is still an outstanding car and it's coming out at least six months before this Aveo or anything else I would want so it wins. However, if Chevy had the new Aveo out this summer it would be a tough call for me.

Now I noticed this thread about the aveo RS spy shots (of which Chev now has actual material released showing it off) but apparently thats kind of a middle ground and grey area size between the sub, and the compact world.
The all-new Chevrolet SPARK That is supposedly chev's true offering to the B segment to replace the aveo. The only thing that really stands out to me is the instrument cluster, the colour is eerily similar to the fiesta, and the music drills itself into your head. In the end i don't hold much in the way of anticipation for it. Chev has done nothing but disappoint since the 80's, and has never really endeared me to them when it comes to anything that doesn't have a V8 in it. |

Hey! it has the EXACT same wheels that my company Aveo has on it. But it does look sportier than than the rented mule of a car we use. Perhaps I should quote Jeremy Clarkson now. "But you don't really want that one now, do you? Because it's also probably a piece of s#@t!

I heard the Aveo is still based on the current Aveo platform. Can anyone name one good small car GM ever sold in the U.S. that they designed? You have to go way back to the Corvair. I had to say that.
