Default Nissan Leaf

Surprised that no one else considered the Leaf when Fiesta shopping. It along with the Fiat 500 were two cars I also considered but I passed on the Leaf because of it's odd Renault styling and because I couldn't get much info out of Nissan about how to buy one and I passed on the 500 because the Abarth model isn't coming until 2013.

Did anyone else consider the Leaf before buying the Fiesta? BTW at the current prices of gas and electricity you'd need to put 250,000 miles on the Leaf before you saved enough gas to make up the price difference between the two even including the $7500 tax break.

They are not even in the same class of car because of price and features. The Leaf is also even further out than the Fiesta was when they started taking orders and then they are only making a very small amount of them.
I don't think a complete electric car would work for me . Sometimes I will drive more than 100 miles in a day with just running around for no reason .
