There was a very good video posted here where Ford talks about how and why they brought the Fiesta to the US market. I can't remember the post and had difficulty searching for it.

I liked the 6spd. transmission concept, still do over a year later.
It's a perfect fit for my wife and I. As for the rear seat, back seat riders ride free, what more can I say. We've only had one couple ride in the back for a few blocks. So the clock loses a minute a week or more. Who cares I'm retired! I just love the way she handles and looks. Did I say I love her? ![]() 2011 Candy Red 6spd Sync Last edited by jimini; 11-11-2011 at 12:45 PM. |

I checked out the Fit; Yarus; Accent; Rio; Fiesta.
The Fiesta beat out the others for COMFORT; handling; style; ride (quiet and solid); COMFORT; mileage; consumer ratings/reviews. Did I mention COMFORT? The seats, pedal placement (I got the 6-speed auto), head room, and steering wheel adjustment are absolutely perfect for me ... 6'1", bit over 200 lbs. None of the others even came close to the comfort level of the Fiesta. I'm grinning every time I drive it. Especially when the road gets curvy. Just got back from visiting the family for Thanksgiving. Four hour trip and no pressure points on my back, butt, or legs. At all. This is the most comfortable car I've ever owned.
