Love the Mitsu concept. If only they came out with something like this they could become viable again overnight but that would be too logical. They will find a way to not do it or mess it up like Nissan did with the Junk er Juke.

I test drove the first Juke to come to this area. The styling may not be for everyone, but it's a damn fun little crossover to drive. Good mpg, nice interior, handles well and the direct injection turbo engine is peppy for hauling a small SUV around. The only thing Nissan messed up on is the price is a bit high for what you get. I think the SV AWD I drove had a sticker of around $24k.

The original concept the Juke was based on - the Qazana was halfway decent.

Nissan found a way to make it squatty and completely whiffed on the fugly front end, imho. Epic FAIL.

It's far from the first production vehicle to look really watered down from it's concept counterpart.

True dat. It's par for the course in most instances.

naw - even in concept it couldn't figure out whether it was going to be circles or angular slit light. I mean I don't even mind that it has both but seriously that particular location for the slit

The new Kia Rio front grill is hideous, I think it is the panel lines that make it even worse, the rest of the car is OK. ]

Problem is with most Hyundais and Kias that their driving dynamics are pretty poor, up to this point all their models fail to impress in the handling department unlike the line up of EU Fords to this point, like the Fiesta, Focus MKII, and Mondeo MKIII.

I've even heard that the manual shifter on the recent Hyundais and Kias are pretty rubbery and vague. Not a good thing to me.

Does anyone know of a new Hyundai hatch? I would driving today and saw one - it was the same EXACT color as my green Fiesta. Same type of front and rear light structure.

So what did I do? Drove up to him, checked out the car, then blowing past him as fast as my little car could move - I was on the expressway!

There's a new one, 2012 model, can't find any pics of it that aren't camo'd or concept sketches. Maybe you spied a prototype! Neat, still wouldn't pick it over the fiesta though...

It was weird, it wasn't camoed out and the logo was there but it had like brown lines all over it - gross
