Interior space in 2012 focus

So my coworker showed up with a new focus sedan. We took a ride to lunch and I was not impressed. I swear that I have more room in my Fiesta. Has anyone else noticed this? The Focus is mostly dash and center console. I must say that it makes me love my little Fiesta that much more. The Fiesta is awesome!

i love the look of the new focus, minus the taillights. i did notice when i sat in it that it felt a little cramped in the front. not too bad, but it was noticeable.

It feels more solid - the thumps of the doors and such. Rear seat folds down all the way, a plus if you have gear to carry. Front seats weren't as comfortable to me when I drove one. It's more of a substantial car but not nearly as 'cute' as a Fiesta - in case the cuteness factor is on the list of someone's buying necessities.

the cuteness factor isn't really that much of a concern, but a manual tranny certainly is. for that reason alone the focus is out for me.
