2012 Yaris officially priced.
The base model starts at $14,115, while the SE model is $17,200.
Sounds good right? Until you find out it has a 4 speed auto, or 5 speed manual. 2012 Toyota Yaris priced from $14,115; Sequoia, Tundra, Sienna get pricing tweaks

From what I've read, this yaris is a re-skin with a bit of suspension tuning. And finally having it's dash fixed...

While most companies have run their subcompacts through the Fiestalizer it seems Toyota chose the Versalizer.

I noticed that a 3-door is in the mix. I haven't seen that in any other market that gets the Yaris. All I'm able to find about it are these spy photos, that make it look like a facelift of the current 3-door:
Toyota test met driedeurs Yaris | AutoWeek.nl The lack of a modern automatic is a real letdown, but I bet MPG will be really good anyway.

Well the Yaris has one thing going for it that no other car has.It has the best dependability rating regardless of price.I wish they had added some HP/torque along with a 5 speed auto for 2012 but even so it's a great car.Fiesta's new 5 speed auto has it's share of problems,I've yet to read an "expert" review that didn't complain about it's functioning.They all recommended going with the manual instead which they liked a lot as well as the clutch feel.
