the xa hasn't been made in a number of years, and the xb got a make over recently. not that it looks all that different lol

Yeah I meant Xd, not Xa.

the Tc is just too expensive at around 29 000$ with some popular equipment, you need to special order a vehicule to get the bare bone model which still is around 23 000$ , imo it is much too expensive for a "souped up corolla"

how do i know about the prices, I have the invoice right here because I was shopping for one when i bought the fiesta which packs a lot more for 21 k

That's how it is in Baltimore too! I just don't see the appeal quite honestly. I'll stick to my Fiesta thanks

Sorry but I have to argue your numbers here.

I have a friend living in North Carolina who is currently driving one of the special edition TC's. I think its from 2009 model year. It's the black version with the red stripe on the wheels. I'll post a photo for reference.

He managed to get this TC for 20K total. Only 4000 of them were made and the special edition he has includes all of the TRD handling parts and the special wheels. So for 20K he got a great deal.

Again, sorry to argue your numbers but it is entirely possible to have a fully loaded TC for 20K. The only thing he's missing is the TRD Supercharger but that would have put the car over 25K which he didn't want to spend.

It is Automatic though. And no, he did not have to special order the car. It was on the lot and thats the price the dealer gave him.

The Scion brand from Toyota has been around for more than 2 years. They started selling cars under the Scion name around 2003.
