Default Engine Mounts - Steeda: who's first?

New from Steeda:
Ford Fiesta Rear Engine Mount

Okay, first/early adaptors, step up. BRGT350, eRic, feedback, thoughts?

And no, Fiesta is not going rear-engined.

Yep, that will go on my car soon! I have used urethane lower engine mounts on all my FWD cars and love them! Shifts are smoother since the transmission dances less, wheel hop is reduced on launches, and adds just enough NVH into the cabin to be fun. I will probably get one this spring when I install the FRPP handling pack since the car will on a lift anyway. I 100% stand behind installing these on a FWD car. I have installed them on a few friends Foci as well, and everyone loves the difference they make. Thanks Steeda for getting this into production!

I don't see much reason to install one on an automatic. The mount keeps the transmission for rocking back/forth when shifting manually. There would be some help with wheel hop as the bushing deflection/oscillation under heavy loads is what contributes to wheel hop. Less deflection, less wheel hop. I would bet that 90% of powershift owners are not interested in a product that increases NVH. If I was designing the mount and had to decide which market to persue, it would be the folks with the manual transmission since the part does more good for them.

Ah, but we have an automated manual. Are you saying, because the shifts happen so fast there is no need? BTW: what does NVH stand for (?net vehicle horsepower?).
