Quiet Aftermarket Exhaust

OK, so I've listened to most of the sound clips on here and still haven't found what I'm looking for. Anyone know what the quietest aftermarket exhaust is? I probably won't buy until spring unless someone has a great sale and right now I'm leaning toward the Flowmaster but I still think I would want it a bit quieter. Ideally you would hear it at WOT and not notice it much at all at a constant 45 or 70 MPH.

I was quite pleased with the Magnaflow catback and cone air filter I had on my 2003 SVT Focus but from what I have heard here the Magnaflow for the Fiesta sounds quite a bit louder. I did like that Aero Turbine install on the stock exhaust pipe and may check with the local Midas shop.

If you want a quiet exhaust then you've already got the best one installed.

you can always add an extra resonator to an exhaust system to quiet it down a little bit.

Well appleinfl I suppose I deserved that one but there are aftermarket exhausts that reduce backpressure, increase gas mileage and don't snap, crackle and pop. I do want more noise under certain conditions, just not a constant drone under constant velocity.

My Magnaflow is a perfect blend of aggressive tone and silent highway driving.

Id recommend it ! BUT the secret is teh TIP!!! i have a 12" tip on mine and it make the exhaust note SILENT during light throttle. Removing the tip and leaving a raw muffler made it ridiculousness loud !

I think from the currently available cat back kits the flowmaster hushpower dbx system is your best bet. You could also join those of us who are waiting for FSWerks to release their "stealth exhaust" (system with resonator) for the fiesta. In any case make sure whatever you pick has a resonator.

the OE exhaust was too quiet for me.

you have heard my Fiesta in person? it has a Magnaflow cat-back.
