Default FSWerks exhaust is a maybe?

So I've been keeping an eye on FSWerks Facebook page, recently someone inquired about an exhaust system for the fiesta. They responded that the individual should send an email because they are keeping track of interest.

Maybe one of the FSWerks reps on here could chime in if the exhaust is being held back by lack of interest. Should we start an interest thread? Group buy (I've never heard of FSWerks doing a group buy so that may be a no go)?

You guys make me wonder what's so spiffy about the fsworks exhaust.

I just checked their page. $450 for the complete exhaust, 5 year warranty.

Magnaflow is lifetime, same with several other exhausts. There's a link in the sale forum for a magnaflow exhaust shipped for $370. That's already $70 less with a lifetime warranty (and not sure if fsworks charges shipping or tax).

What's the point of wanting the fsworks exhaust so badly?

Yeah. Price the guy gave us on the magnaflow is just too good.

Mine gets here tomorrow. Brother in law (soon to be anyways) works at a shop as said his boss will let him and I work on it after hours anyway this week. Hope to get it on Tuesday. (however knowing my luck it might be till the weekend).

There are a variety of reasons. Personally I'd prefer to support FSWerks because they are a smaller company focused on the Fiesta and Focus. From what I've read/ heard about their exhaust their product has a sound, fit and finish equal to or better then all their competitors.

Remember $450 is retail and that $370 for the magna flow is heavily discounted. If you look at FSWerks discounts they regularly have promotions for free shipping on orders over $200 and once and a while 20% off on orders over $200 that would ring in at $360. Yes, that doesn't include shipping but not a bad deal.

I guess my thing is, the product doesn't actually exist even. Waiting for an exhaust to hopefully come out eventually when there are 4 or 5 others compatably priced and a couple of those with lifetime warranties. My order of the magnaflow shows what I would do. But I guess if your fond of the company and expect great things then I can understand waiting.

Is there word of them actually producing the exhaust or is it even known?

By all means order what you want for your car. I'm not a seller of them do doesn't matter to me. Just wa wondering the idea behind this particular exhaust.

The last I heard it was "on a long list of parts to be made still". With this new FB post I'm not sure if that has changed.
