I know this is a little old but I had this happen to me as well. I got the fan resistor replaced and now I seem to have my fan back. But it is worrisome that it went so quickly...

Mine went from working perfectly to the next time I took my car, only working in the top speed.

I took it to the dealer and they fixed it right up. I just wanted to mention it in case anyone else had the issue come up too.

Hi brian,

Pleasure to meet you and glad to learn the concern was repaired.

If you ever need assistance in the future, PM your VIN, current mileage as well as your personal and contact info and I'll have a Customer Service Manager assist you.

my powershift transmission failing nearly caused two serious accidents.

Two ford dealers did nothing about it. If this car carks it on me again and I'm involved in an accident I'll be looking for a brand new replacement vehicle from them, regardless of whether I'm out of warranty or not. I've been complaining to them about malfunctions since day one.

It sure sounds like if Ford gets a bad batch of parts, we'll hear about it here!! And, probably, Ford gets the word as well.
