Ok, this is the situation as it stands (and it stands in a poor position):
Picked up the car from the dealership the day before my vacation, drove it home, didn't touch it again until yesterday.
Drove it all day yesterday, no problem, super happy, falling in love again!!
Drove it into work thinking about how much I love it.

I called nadine at ford canada (left a voice mail, haven't heard from her) and jack emailed someone else and everyone I've heard from agrees that the car is a lemon and needs to go, but I don't know whose decision it ultimately is. My husband is livid and I'm just completely worn out and depressed.

Yeah so I have no idea what's going on. Someone is paying $35 a day for me to drive a fancy rental focus and I would have thought that would light a fire under someone's butt, but I guess not.

The good news is that I like the focus (not as much as a fiesta with the options I wanted, but it's close) so it's not such a painful experience for me any more.

I am starting to wonder what the eff though. I called nadine again today, waiting on a call back.

I still haven't heard back yet. A week is a bit excessive for a call back after a request for an update.

I heard back on tuesday from the sales manager at the dealership that I should hear what decision ford canada has made in the next day or so. Still nothing. I called Nadine again today and left another message.

I am antsy as all hell. I'm scared. I'm trying to not think about it so I don't get stressed out. I'm afraid they will be jerks about it and I'll have to go to abritration which is just going to be more stress. Please ford, please be reasonable - I REALLY think I deserve a new car. I just want this to be over and to be happy with the car I picked and the only car I want.

Post things to the internet and good things will happen! It's a done deal, I'm getting a new car. PHEW. I pretty much feel great right now, and I will be compeltely elated once I hear all the details and confirm that the new car will have the same options (possibly with a moon roof added)!
