Noemi,
I just went thru the owners manual again and it didn't say that the fan would stay on (that I could find), so thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking it may be a sticky fan relay - which is right next to the same part numbered PCM relay. I wonder??? Nah, must be a coincidence.

It was cold enough in Flag that she wanted to get inside in less than 2-3 minutes of calling me, so quite cold. Flagstaff does get cold in January

She is back home now with no further "fan on" events, so I'll just keep tabs on it. Now we are just counting down to the wedding when we get our house back to ourselves and we can park our cars in our garage.

Checked with the service department at your dealer.

Interesting. I too thought cars didn't do that anymore. Learn something new every day.

Hey RichBinAZ,

If you believe this is something of a concern, take it over to the local Ford dealer for a checkup. At the same time, send me a PM with the VIN, current mileage, your personal, and dealer contact info and I'll have the Customer Service Manager in your area assist.

BTW, children may move out, but your home will never be yours and yours alone. They come back with GRANDCHILDREN!

Hi macus!

Yeah! Should have seen my face when I received that piece of info.

Take care all!
