Didnt get one at the dealership when I financed. However we have till the 3/36000 mark to get one. Can order it right from the My ford page.

I'm considering the 6/125000. I run about 20000 a year so that'd get me right about te correct time scale. The problem is have is Jesh it's kinda spendy but worth it if I end up needing repairs.

The 3 yr/36000 miles is a "bumper to bumper" warranty.
The drive train is warrantied for 5 yrs or 60000 miles.
With the reliability of todays cars, in most cases an extended warranty is not worth the mony.
Proper upkeep is a lot cheaper.

Hey fiestaSEviolet,

Ford has excellent Extended Service Plans for those desiring protection after the basic warranty runs out. I'm sure you'll find one that will meet your needs. Check it out when you have a moment.

Jesh it's like you had to say that

I've had good luck with service plans... every car I had them on, I used more than the cost of them... With that being said, if you do sell the car, the purchase minus milage/yrs is reembursable! So not that risky of a purchase IMO.

Basically for someone who takes their car to the dealer for wiper blade replacement, oil changes and PSI in the tires... they are the best thing going! For someone who turns their own wrenches, not so much.

If you get the Ford ESP just be sure to get the best one you can get because it (obviously) covers the most parts.

If it's an aftermarket warranty be careful, some of them are pretty shady.

Ford pushed hard to sell me that extended warranty crap. I almost had to get mean to get 'em to back off. And I mean, mean.

Luckily I was there, or they would've snookered my wife into buying it, I'm sure.

Ford dealer has to go through me before my wife will even authorize an oil change. I like our vehicles, but not much has changed at the dealer with ripoffs, scams, and unnecessary "maintenance."
